Coast & Country Housing’s Independent Living Service, HomeCall, is partnering with Redcar-based community radio station Zetland FM to raise awareness of the valuable service HomeCall provides to elderly and vulnerable people across the area.
The 12-month partnership will see HomeCall sponsor the mid-morning show, presented by Julie Donaldson, which focuses on the people and organisations that make Redcar & Cleveland such a special place.
HomeCall regularly receives special thanks from customers whose lives have been enhanced, and sometimes saved, by the 24/7 emergency response service. Some of these stories will be told as part of the programme.
Jason Lowe, Head of Independent & Supported Living at Coast & Country Housing, said:.”
Jeremy Gartland, Zetland FM's Chairman and Station Manager, said "We are delighted that HomeCall will be sponsoring our popular mid-morning show, presented by Julie Donaldson, for the next 12 months. At Zetland FM we are always keen to convey important messages to our audience. This sponsorship gives HomeCall the opportunity to promote their hugely important service which keeps elderly and vulnerable people independent in their own homes. Zetland FM is looking forward to working in partnership with HomeCall over the coming year."
Some of the HomeCall team joined Julie on her show on Friday 28th April to launch the partnership and take part in a live radio chat about the service and what it’s like to support families across South Tees. You can listen back to the HomeCall team on Zetland FM here:
